research indicates many health areas where Bee Venom is beneficial to
joint mobility, suppleness, helps the body's normal immune system defence
mechanisms and as a tonic.
Bee
Venom is a complex mixture of proteins (enzymes and peptides) with unique
pharmacological activities. (Vick. 1972) The main enzymes in Bee
Venom are hyaluronidase and phopholiphase A (Hider. 1988) Peptides are
proteins that possess specific biological activities. There are
three major peptides found in Bee Venom: melittin, apamin, and peptide
401. (Chang & Bliven. 1978) Melitten and apamin stimulate the body's
adrenal and pituitary systems to produce cortisol and natural steroids.
Natually produced steroids do not produce the medical complications of
synthetic steroids (Vick. 1972) Peptide 401 is a powerful anti immflamatory
agent, found to be up to one hundred times more effective than cortisone
when administered at equivalent dosages. (Bellingham et al. 1973)
Now
we can see a new period of developing apitherapy and bee venom therapy
( period of new millennium) - researchers using complex's influence of
nature's bee products to the human body (
Eastern Europe, USA, China, Japan, New Zealand). It makes possible a choice

vitamins in honey (Haydek. 1943) are:
Thiamin
(Vitamin B1), Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), Riboflavin (B2),
Pantothenic (B5),
Pyridoxine
(B6), and Niacin
Current
research on the antibacterial properties of pure New Zealand manuka honey
suggests that it inhibits a broad spectrum of bacteria and fungi. (Dr.
P. Molan, NZ, 1996) This research is experimental and no therapeutic claims
can be made for honey.
